Become a scientist in ISRO after 12th - IIST

To become a scientist in ISRO you have Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects in 12th class and also have a good basic knowledge of these subjects. You also have minimum 75% marks in aggregate (65% for reserved categories). After that you have to take admission in IIST (Indian Institute of Space and Technology). It is the easiest way to get absorbed in ISRO as an engineer/scientist. You can apply for JEE entrance test to take admission in IIST. If you already completed your engineering then you can take admission to PG courses.

Become a scientist in ISRO after B.Tech

If you completed your B.Tech from any college and now you want to work in ISRO as an engineer/scientist then you have to appear in an examination named ICRB (centralized Recruitment Bangalore). This exam is conducted by ISRO. In this exam candidates are tested as per their respective branches of engineering. After this exam you have to face an interview. If you successfully passed this interview then you wil appointed as a scientist/engineer at ISRO. To appear in this exam, you need to have 65% marks in B.Tech.
